Sad to know that the Museum left Victorville, moved to Branson and then finally shut down for good only a few years back.
Makes sense I suppose; most folks now have never heard of Roy and Trigger. Being born in the late 60's I never watched him myself, but was aware that he existed by the lingering impact of his legend (as lived out via his many endorsement deals I suppose).
Oh man....I never got to go and I had no idea it was no longer in Victerville. Valuable lesson learned - don't put off visiting things you want to see!

ReplyDeleteVisited several times, and was able to talk to Roy Rogers Jr. He actually signed a little had carved wooden boot we got from the shop.
